This week's You Capture theme was Old Signs.
Some of these don't really look old... but they're old to me!
I was home at my parents' house when I took these this weekend.
I really was going to try to stick to just one or two pictures this week, but I couldn't do it!
Enjoy!
The common theme around the house:(Can you guess our favorite family movie by this?)
Not really a sign... but kinda? Made of old barn siding:
This one is definitely old. Well... older than me anyways!
Dad painted this one shortly after they got married:
And this one I actually took a few summers ago, but I love it.
Not far from where I grew up, a road with my family's name:

Great job. Lots of good signs there. Especially like the parking signs.

ReplyDeleteHow fun to have your own street!
ReplyDeletegreat post, katy! i like your take on old signs. i think my favorite is the flag from barn boards - really cool! and the parking signs for your mom and dad - they sound like really fun people :).

Ok, I about died laughing at the parking signs! Those are just too funny. Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love the street name sign. In New York (where my dad and stepmom used to live) there were two street names with their first names. I always thought that was so cool when I was growing up :)
ReplyDeleteI like the Friends Welcome sign! So cute to have on a front porch.
